This 3 day workshop will give hands-on instruction on how to pose your subjects in the studio as well as in different environments you may come across where the models need to fit in naturally to the scene created.

Once a location has been chosen and the models are posed and in place, the lighting needs to be addressed. Every situation may require a different lighting setup and different techniques to obtain certain looks needed. Learn how to use strobes effectively. Off-camera Flash and multiple strobes will be covered so that photographers can learn to control the light in any given situation and at any time.

This week-long workshop is perfect for entry-level Photographers who want a better understanding of their camera, how it works, and the theory behind capturing images through the use of their personal equipment.

Start in the classroom where we go through all of the camera’s functions to build an understanding of how your equipment works. Photography will be broken down to its simplest of usage while learning how to work program modes to your advantage. Tricks and tips on how to get quick and accurate exposures of the scenes chosen. We will build an understanding of how lighting plays a paramount role in what you photograph.

Take a 2 day Insuightful class on the basics of editing an image. Learn how to process your images through a routine that makes sense, that you can revisit when desired, and that can be taken with you and accessed anywhere you go as a personal library of your images.

Students will be given an easy and understandable way of cataloging photographs taken and how to upload them into hard-drives to be accessed by editing software. Learn Lightroom and Photoshop and how each program accels in different processes and how powerful a tool these programs can be in making timeless images that can be admired for generations.

Florida has some of the best birds to photograph year-round. The warm air, the Everglades, and all the freshwater around makes this state an oasis for outdoor photography and the exploration of the many species of birds found here.

Most of all, enjoy the wonders of your cameras and reveal your own stories of adventure during your travels.
